Technical brilliance and well-earned reputation recognised by Legal 500

Hodge Jones & Allen and its specialist teams were once again recognised by the Legal 500 directory. Described as a ‘go-to firm’, the Crime and Housing teams maintained their top tier ratings.

Patrick Allen, senior partner continues to head the firm, and the PI group ‘bringing his enormous experience where necessary’

Other leaders identified were Julie Say, Head of Clinical Negligence who they describe as providing ‘outstanding clarity of instructions in complex cases’.

In the Crime team, Nigel Richardson, their Head was described as ‘Technically brilliant’ and ‘arguably the leading solicitor for sexual offences work’. His colleagues Raj Chada, Daniel Godden, Ruth Harris and Samira Noor-Khan were all recognised too.

Jayesh Kunwardia’s ‘well-earned reputation for leading claimant work’ was in the spotlight too. He is described as ‘diligent, creative, sensible and robust’ and ‘not afraid to take on cases which stretch and develop the law’; ‘he fights for his clients with great gusto and positivity’

The Civil Liberties and Human Rights team is described as providing ‘a superb level of service’ and is ‘one of the best around’. The team’s co-heads Jocelyn Cockburn is singled-out as having an ‘incisive and tactical mind’ and Susie Labinjoh as ‘highly conscientious’.
