Leticia Williams, Head of our Personal Injury team, re-elected onto APIL’s Executive Committee
Leticia Williams, experienced personal injury lawyer and Head of our Personal Injury team is delighted to have been re-elected onto the Executive Committee of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Committee members are volunteers that meet on a regular basis to ensure APIL maintains its impeccable record of standing up for the rights of injured people.
APIL is a non-profit organisation that has been tirelessly campaigning on behalf of injured people since 1990. The association currently has 3,300 member lawyers who are all united by the common belief that injured people deserve access to justice.
Leticia is a staunch supporter of APIL and its ethos to ensure that injured people have access to the best legal representation on their journey to recovery. She believes it is the responsibility of legal professionals to elicit positive change within the industry to ensure that individuals’ rights are upheld and that those who work in the profession also have a voice.
Leticia is accredited by APIL as a Senior Litigator, reflecting her ability and success when acting for injured people. She was appointed as a Partner at Hodge Jones & Allen in 2014, before being appointed the Head of our leading Personal Injury team in 2019.
Commenting on her re-election, Leticia said: “I am delighted to have been re-elected to APIL’s executive committee. I am looking forward to continuing our work to promote the personal injury sector and ensure injured people can get access to justice they need. We are in a time when so many legislative changes are making it harder for personal injury solicitors to provide help to injured people. The need for a collective voice has never been so important.”
