Liverpool Office Party Attracts Wonderful Mix of Local Guests
On Thursday, 26 May 2022 Hodge Jones and Allen (HJA) formally celebrated the opening of its new Liverpool base with a party at the Hope Street Hotel.
Patrick Allen, Senior Partner welcomed guests including Lady Anne Dodd, patron of the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (LHCH) Charity and in his speech, Patrick recognised the vibrancy of the city commenting “This city feels so right for Hodge Jones & Allen. Liverpool people are strong-willed, determined and proud of their city. At HJA we are determined. Determined to keep on making a difference to people’s lives.”
He went onto thank the guests for their welcome and assured them that at HJA “We were all truly focused on ‘fighting for what was right and just’. That was so hugely important to me when I qualified and remains with me and my partners, 45 years on.”
Guests included doctors, barristers, local asbestos groups, financial experts and charities, and from the fifth floor of the hotel, they enjoyed panoramic views of the city whilst making new contacts and fundraising for the LHCH charity. We were grateful for the donations received, on the night, for some amazing personal caricatures which were skilfully drawn in a few minutes and made everyone smile!
The LHCH Charity also launched their Fundraiser of the Year competition and Mary Liley, their Head of Fundraising gave an insight into the amazing work of the hospital staff.
