About Ruth Kelliher
Ruth is a Solicitor within the Housing team of Hodge Jones & Allen. Ruth’s work focuses on matters relating to disrepair, possession and homelessness. Throughout her career Ruth has demonstrated her commitment to assisting her clients to access justice and ensure all rights are upheld and respected throughout all stages of the legal process. Ruth is an advocate for everyone’s right to a safe, suitable and healthy environment.
Ruth qualified as a solicitor in January 2025 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors with the Law Society of Ireland. Ruth was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in March 2025.
Ruth is a member of both the Law Society of Ireland and the Law Society of England and Wales.
Prior to joining Hodge Jones & Allen Ruth completed her training contract in a busy criminal law practice in Dublin City Centre. Ruth hopes to bring the extensive training and experience she gained to her work with Hodge Jones & Allen.
Ruth has a particular interest in children’s rights, completing an LLM in Children’s Rights and Family Law, and will bring her unique understanding of this area of law to her work.
Ruth volunteers as a housing support worker with the Hackney Migrant Centre, advising on housing law cases.
