Permission sought to bring an Appeal on homeless assistance ineligibility for EEA national
Sioned Wyn Roberts, Senior Associate, Housing and Discrimination Team is seeking permission to bring an appeal within the Court of Appeal on behalf of a survivor of domestic abuse who has been found to be ineligible for homeless assistance as an EEA national with pre-settled status. The case is of a wider public importance as it considers the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union by local housing authorities. A decision on permission is expected to be made in the next few months.
