About Gregory Horne
Gregory joined Hodge Jones & Allen as a paralegal in March 2025. Prior to joining the Firm, Gregory has represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters but has had a particular focus and affinity for housing and property law disputes, including disrepair claims, landlord and tenant disputes, judicial review claims, and possession and eviction matters.
Gregory is passionate about access to justice and has demonstrated his commitment to this principle by volunteering with a range of organisations which has included facilitating:
- Nationally touring public workshops focused on legal rights and de-escalation techniques when confronted with police in stop and search and protest scenarios.
- Defence and advocacy on behalf of “persons unknown” resisting possession claims where property had been occupied for political purposes.
- Access to legal advice about the right for special provision for parents of students struggling to access Special Educational Needs support.
Prior to becoming a solicitor Gregory also trained at the bar and was a high achieving advocate. He was appointed Master of Mooting at Christ Church’s Mansfield Society whilst attending Oxford University and represented the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn at several prestigious debating competitions and moots. Gregory was formally called to the Bar of England and Wales in October 2024.
