About Tabea Wilkes

Tabea Wilkes joined Hodge, Jones & Allen in September 2024 as a Trainee Solicitor. Tabea is completing her first seat in the Housing department, assisting Farzana Chowdhury, primarily on possession and disrepair cases.

Prior to joining Hodge Jones & Allen, Tabea worked in environmental law and policy, advocating for improved environmental protection and advising government and statutory bodies on existing environmental law. Tabea has worked on implementing international law and retaining EU environmental law at the national and devolved level to provide better protection for habitats and species in the terrestrial and marine environment. She has experience in a variety of other environmental matters, including water scarcity, chemicals regulations, river pollution, hedgerow protection, and nuisance law.

 

Tabea has been a supervisor for the Cardiff Law Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, providing free legal advice on a range of conservation and climate change issues. Tabea has previously volunteered with the Cardiff University Innocence Project, providing free legal advice for individuals on miscarriage of justice cases.
