About Phoebe Hill

Phoebe is a Partner in our Family Law Team. Phoebe’s practice covers all aspects of private family law including determining financial matters for those divorcing, unmarried parents or cohabitees. Phoebe also specialises in pre and post-nuptial agreements and resolving arrangements for children including international and domestic relocation.

Phoebe is recognised as a Key Lawyer by The Legal 500 and described as “Excellent” (2023) and “She works with care and concern, guiding her clients through the most difficult times and making sure their interests are properly represented” (2024)

Phoebe takes a client focused approach and aims to achieve the best possible outcome for all her clients, considering and tailoring her advice to each individual set of circumstances. Phoebe wishes to resolve matters through negotiation as constructively and efficiently as possible, but is fully prepared to take a strong and robust approach if court proceedings are required. Phoebe has been complimented by clients for her professional yet personal approach, offering clear and practical advice to help clients achieve their goals.

She qualified in 2014 and has since practised exclusively in family law. Phoebe has gained a wealth of experience working in esteemed London law firms acting for high net worth individuals with complex asset, business and international portfolios.

She has attained Specialist Accreditation from Resolution in both private children law and cohabitation and Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Phoebe’s recent work includes:

  1. Divorce and Financial settlements including pension sharing, businesses, trusts and international assets
  2. Pre-Marital and Post-Nuptial Agreements with complex property and asset portfolios.
  3. Advising and assisting clients to reach arrangements for their children including where the child should live and how much time they should spend with each parent. Phoebe’s particular specialities extend to leave to remove applications and grandparent rights.
  4. Financial settlements such as Separation and Cohabitation Agreements to determine the financial and living arrangements between couples and cohabitees.
  5. Schedule 1 applications to determine the financial provision for children of unmarried parents.

Notable Cases

  • PS –v- CS [2023] EWFC 323 (B) acting for the respondent father in respect of a Schedule 1 and TOLATA matter to determine financial provision and property settlement between unmarried parents and cohabitees.
