New Industrial Disease Law Partner joins Hodge Jones & Allen
Isobel Lovett joins Hodge Jones & Allen today to head up their Industrial Disease & Illnesses Department.
Moving from Newcastle to London to join Hodge Jones & Allen, Isobel said “I am delighted to be joining a firm with such a fantastic record of fighting for justice for individuals. I very much recognize and support the values of this respected and innovative city firm.”
“The most rewarding part of my work is helping people who have developed asbestos related diseases and providing support and guidance to my clients and their families, at often hugely difficult times in their lives. I will be continuing to dedicate my time to gaining answers to settle claims and gain the compensation deserved by employees who, sadly, have been injured due to the negligence of their employer(s).”
Isobel worked previously for Irwin Mitchell in Newcastle and Ashton Morton Slack, in Sheffield. Her caseload includes representing employees with asbestos related and lung cancer claims. Isobel is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyer (APIL) and a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
Commenting on Isobel’s appointment Patrick Allen, Senior Partner, said “Isobel is a ‘fantastic fit’ for our firm as she has committed her professional career to gaining answers, justice and compensation for her clients over the last 22 years and she brings with her great experience and understanding for those who have developed an industrial disease.
Our firm is continuing to innovate and grow as outlined in our Innovation in Law report, published in November 2014; attracting first class legal brains into a modern business environment, designed to provide the highest quality services to all our clients”
